Why this exists

Most of what slows research down is not thinking. It is legwork: chasing down a citation, checking that a source actually says what it is cited for, rereading a paper outside your field to find one number, rerunning someone else’s code to see if a result holds.

None of that requires genius. It requires time most researchers do not have. Samiksa is an agent for that legwork: it searches, reads, verifies, and drafts on your behalf, and logs what it did at every step so the thinking, and the argument, stay yours.

What it is not

Not a lab notebook. Not a reference manager. Not a chatbot that answers a question and forgets it. It is an agent scoped to the research process, searching, verifying, and drafting jobs you hand it, with a log of everything it touched, and it hands control back to you before anything becomes part of the record.
